Enturire is a sweet and sour alcoholic sorghum and honey based beverage with its origins from south western region (Kabale, Rukungiri etc)
Lots of bonding, storytelling and banter is done by the Bakiga men and women in the evenings in a small room that should pass for a bar after their long work day before they head home to prepare for the next.

This is one of the videos from when we recently hosted Miss Earth Uganda. An AMAZING SOUL I must say.

For those that may not know; Miss Earth Uganda is an annual beauty pageant in Uganda that was created in 2014, and is responsible for promoting environmental awareness which by now you know is one of the things we (Hawk’s Eye Lodge Bunyonyi) are very big on.

Anyway, the title holder this year is @caroline_ngabire and we’d like to say a big thank you for choosing to stay with us🙏🏾❤️
